We've got Footings! Wednesday was suppose to be the big day...then Thursday was suppose to be the big day....then Friday morning things were suppose to start happening! Friday at noon they began to lay the forms for the footings. The Pump Truck was scheduled to arrive at 1:30, the concrete at 2. Would they be finished laying the forms by then.......? Well, yes they would! They worked fast...they worked hard...and by golly they got er' done! Did the Concrete Truck come at 2? Nope...not until about 3:30...so it is with building a home. Hurry up and wait! Four Concrete Trucks later it was finished. Mighty fine looking footings. Can you tell...our house will definately be "built upon the rock!"
Oh, and of course we had an audience. Would never miss the arrival of a Pump Truck or a Concrete Truck. They were in awe! Happy memories.
