Yesterday was lovely. The weather was beautiful, cool, but dry and sunny. We'd been keeping a close eye on the weather report AND the Skagit Valley Tulip watch. Tuesday was the day. We were off to Tip Toe Through the Tulips! The daffodil fields were coming to a close, but the tulips were just beginning to pop. I'm sure next week it will be Glorious.....but crowded! We liked it just the way it was.
I've been enjoying Spring this year. Noticing all the buds coming out on the trees, the squirrel showing up in the back yard again...I even saw a bluebird yesterday morning! I'm anxious for it to warm up, to get outside and work in my yard. Last year we didn't pay much attention to it. I planted no flowers. The yard was colorless. Just like me. This Spring feels different. Not quite the same as "before" last year, but better than last Spring. A little more colorful. Flowers started appearing at the home improvement store a couple weeks ago and I bought some. My empty pots are beginning to fill up. There is Sunshine in my Soul and I like it.

This will be a great year, you have made a wonderful start! You should make your house feel welcoming so when you drive up you are happy to see it. That is how your other one was and this one has the potential to be like it. It's a very cute house!
