Happy Easter! I love this holiday. I've enjoyed preparing myself, all week, for it to come. From putting together my little Easter treats for my Grandkids, to spending a couple of days enjoying nature and the sunshine. Last night we enjoyed the Temple and good friends. It was the perfect week to teach my Young Women. It helped me think all week long about how special this day is. Planning and preparing something for them that would help them feel the spirit. Something that would help them get to know their Savior a little better. Something that would help them desire to be more like him. In all my planning and all my activities, I found that I too, became a little more acquainted with the Savior. I am thankful.

I choose the talk, "You Are His Hands," by Elder Uchtdorf for my lesson.  Thanks to Brother Froisland for helping me, once again with my "technical issues," I was able to show the girls this video from YouTube.  The spirit instantly came into the room.  I know they felt it.  After it was over, we talked about the miracles the Savior performed.  The kinds of things he did for others.  We talked about how we couldn't raise the dead, but we could help someone feel alive.  We couldn't make a blind man see, but we could help someone see the good and beauty around them.  I challenged them to find ways to be the hands the Savior needs this week.  Hopefully they will.  I know I'm going to try harder this week, to listen for the promptings that come, to help others.

Of course, I couldn't let them leave without a little treat/handout, so I came up with these:

And I saw some little bunnies like these at a craft show a few weeks ago.  I bought a sample and then changed it up a little to make it my own.  The girls HAD to have one of these!

There little backsides are made up of three little hersheys funsize bars tied together with a ribbon.  The finishing touch is a white pom pom for his tail.  Just too cute!
