Tautphaus Park Zoo

After all these years I didn't know Idaho Falls had a zoo! On one of our trips to "the falls" Robyn and I saw the sign..."Zoo." She'd heard it was pretty nice, so we made plans to go with Tim, Maria and Katelyn. It turned out to be a really fun zoo! Just small enough the kids didn't get too tired and interesting enough that it held their attention. Even Macie's! There was an animal in every exhibt for them to see. The Monkeys were on a roll! They entertained us for several minutes. There were camels, turtles, birds, monkeys, zebras, snakes, lions, alligators, a petting zoo and much, much more! It was well worth the $5 bucks to get in. After, we had a picnic in the beautiful park and Katelyn rode the Merry go Round! They had a little amusement park on the outside of the zoo. In describing it to Bob, it sounds like they still have exactly the same things now as they did when he was a kid! No way you'd get me on rides that old!
