Pioneer Day parade!

I was excited when I realized that I'd be in Idaho for the 24th of July. It's been a long time sinced I've been in "Mormon Country" for a 24th of July celebration. I was disappointed when I realized that Rexburg didn't celebrate the holiday anymore...neither does Idaho Falls. When I heard there was going to be a parade in St. Anthony I knew I wanted to go. Because we were a little late in getting started, D had to manuver the "back roads" to get us to the parade route. We appreciated him being such a "willing" participant in our adventure!....Mother-in-laws! He knew right where to go and it was perfect! The parade was so much fun! So different than anything you'd ever see in Seattle. Primary kids in big wagons, a Salt Lake Temple float, American Flags everywhere, John Deer tractors with Cheerleaders riding them, Gratitude for our Constitution, Missionaries on bikes and people cheering for them! Even free chocolate milk! Maria and Katelyn came by "red flyer wagon" to join in the fun! It was better than we ever expected! Happy Pioneer Day!

You go you little Middle School Dance Team!
