Welcome to the World baby Gisele! Born on Sunday, November 22nd. The past two weeks have been so much fun. A whirlwind of activity! First, the anticipation of the baby's arrival, then the excitment of watching the family meet her for the first time. So, so sweet. Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he made families. What would life be like without them? How true, a picture speaks a thousand words.
Meet the Fam! From three to four. What a difference one more makes. Dan's family looks so BIG now! Love, love, love it!

Grandma and Papa with baby Gisele. Babies are just so soft and sweet.

The kids and I made a welcome home sign for Gisele's homecoming. It was a fun surprise for Mom and Dad to come home to. The kids were proud.
It's such a priviledge to be able to share the joy of a new addition to each of our childrens families. It is so kind of them to let us be a part of such a special time in their lives.
Being a long distance Grandparent is hard. You miss so many things in the kids lives. I was excited to find out that Seth was having a special Thanksgiving program the day after I got there. A program and a feast! Would that happen in Washington? I don't think so. Do they even give thanks for anything here in Washington schools? It was just about the cutest thing. Kids dressed up like Pilgrams, Indians and Turkeys!

My assignment was to take keep the kids busy while Linsey was trying to go into labor! So, the kids and I thought of things we could do to keep them entertained. We went to Hobby Lobby (why don't we have Hobby Lobby in Washington?) and Seth found some birdhouses he thought would be fun to paint. So, we bought them and we painted them! They painted them actually! I didn't help a bit. Just with the clean up. That was my job!

I just have to say, it is so awesome that Dan and Andy ended up in the same town for at least a little while. It just makes it so convienent! While Adi and Seth were in school, Baylee and Luke hung out with me and we played. The two of them are so cute to watch together! One minute they love each other, then next they are driving each other crazy! Watching them is just pretty darn cute!

Bob flew in on Thanksgiving Day, so we celebrated the holiday on Friday instead of Thursday. Seth and I made some Turkey place cards for our Thanksgiving table. He did most of it himself. He was my little crafting buddy. He loves anything to do with creating. I think he did a pretty good job! He stuck with it to the very end. It was a pretty big project for a 6 year old!

After diner we made Gingerbread Houses! That was pretty fun, actually. Should have seen their eyes when we started pulling out all the candy! Luke just started cramming whatever he could grab into his mouth! Soon, they all got the hang of putting the candy on the house, instead of into their mouth. I think the end results turned out pretty cute!

Wow, nice work mama, you pretty much covered everything! Thanks so much for the visit--the kids had a blast! Wednesday night Seth asked "What are we doing tomorrow?" I told him we didn't have any plans. He got a disgusted look on his face and said "I want Grandma to come back. She always has stuff for us to do!"
Yup, she sure does! We miss you both already! Love Dan
How fun! You sure do get to travel alot. I'm glad you got to spend time there.
We miss you!
Happy belated Thanksgiving!
