The Party Is Over!

It's been almost a week now since we arrived home from our trip to Florida. We went to celebrate Ricks 60th birthday with him and his family. We had a great time visiting with them and seeing some of the sights around Jacksonville. Bob hasn't been there since '93, I think! We went to Amelia Island, shopped in some of the shops and toured a fort that is there. Another day we went to St. Augustine and spent some time there doing what tourists do. It is a beautiful city with lots of history. For my brothers birthday his girls put on a Murder Mystery dinner. It was loads of fun getting ready for it, and participating in it. We'd never done anything like that before. A new experience! I enjoyed being in the Florida sunshine, extending my summer just a little bit longer. When I travel to my brothers family they all make me feel so welcome and this time was no exception. I love them all bunches and bunches! Thanks for a great time.
I'm feeling fall in the air. Summer appears to be pretty much over and I must admit I'm kinda tired of traveling. It feels good to be home. It's been such a fun and eventful time. Seeing our family, spending time with those we love. Now it's time to settle in and get some things done around home. Finish some projects I've started and haven't finished. Nest a little bit. Get back into a routine and just be normal. I'm grateful for all the things we've been able to see and do. It's been a great summer. Lot's of memories have been made. I've loved every minute of it.
