It's A Wonderful Life

Has it really been almost two months since a post?!  Well, we've been a little busy.  Busy with stuff like.... MOVING IN!  We LOVE our new house!  Even if it still isn't done.  That's just how we roll around here.  Who needs a shower anyways?  Not us!  Bob is still chipping away at it, bit by bit....but we were able to get a temporary occupancy permit about three weeks ago.  He's got to have everything done by January 1st.  He's a little worried, but I have all the confidence in the world in him.  Not much picture taking has been going on.  I've "misplaced" the battery to my camera.  Hopefully after all the boxes have been unpacked I'll find it.  If not, I'm in trouble. 

Bob's been really busy the last three weeks on the kitchen.  Working HARD!  Today I came home to this....

Took my breath away!  I was beside myself excited!  I did make my mark on the kitchen, I did the tile...yes, yes I did!  Nice to be able to say I did something!

Here are a few pictures of the living room.  All the finish work still needs to be done, like the moldings and the stone on the fireplace.  Oh, and the bookcases on either side.  I haven't finished hemming my curtains either!  That's because one side is hanging crooked and we haven't found the "roundtoit" to fix them!  Most of my treasures are still in boxes because there isn't anywhere to put them. No pictures of other parts of the house either, cause frankly, they just don't look that good yet!  But soon! 

This past week I found a scripture in Alma that has become one of my favorites...."I ought to be content with the things which the Lord has allotted unto me."  It's exactly how I feel.
