BLOGGING BEHIND

Robyn, I miss you. A whole bunch. It's so fun when she comes, because I get to play. I'd much rather play than most anything in the world.
These are some of my most favorite little people in the whole world to play with...the big one in the picture is kinda fun too (sometimes) !
Robyn and her family came home the first part of July. Lucky for them, they got to be here for Ben's special blessing day. His daddy gave him the most special blessing ever. I know he loved it. I know, because he told me in his sweet little voice when I got to hold him after his blessing was over.

We planned fun stuff everyday. One day we all went to Flaming Geyser Park for a little hike and picnic. Not quite like Old Faithful, but the kids liked it!

Robyn and Macie are watching D set off the fireworks. Macie didn't like them so much. They really were rather lame. But Robyn sure looks pretty!

One day we went to Dash Point State Park. The weather was so nice while Robyn was here. It felt so good to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. The girls loved the water and the sand. They started off clean, but there was no hope. It didn't take long before all the clothes started coming off!

We found time to do a little crafting. This picture doesn't do our flags justice! My friend, Danielle gave me these windows and reminded me of the idea to paint them like flags. I'd seen them on some blog awhile ago, so we did it! We loved how they turned out. It felt so good to craft. It seems like it's been so long. We tried to find time to do some other things while Robyn was here, but the time just got away. There is never enough time.

We went to concert in the park one day. Tickle Toon Typhone. It was pretty sorry. Sixty year old Hippies singing about the earth and vegetables. But it was free! We stayed long enough to eat our lunch and then left.

The girls had a fun time playing in the pool in the backyard and dumping sand over each others heads in the sandbox. Robyn and I enjoyed sitting in the sun, working on our tans.

We made it to the Science Center this time. We'd been wanting to do that each time Robyn has come, but something always came up and we'd never get to it. The Butterfly House was a hit with Hailey. Several times Butterflies landed on her pretty flower! Macie didn't like it so much. She's pretty much a girly girl....not so into bugs! Hailey is game for anything!

This brings back memories. I think somewhere in my zillions of photos I have a picture just like this of my kids when they were little, standing in the same place, wearing the same aprons, playing in the same water! The Science Center is a fun place for kids of all ages. But, we did decide that as much money as they charge to get in, after all these years they should spend some of that money to update some of their exhibits! It's pretty much still exactly the same as it was 15 years ago!

We fit in lots and lots of cousin time. We went swimming, to the splash park and to McDonalds. We played at Hank and Max's house and we played at Nana's house. We played on playgrounds together, we ate at the lake together........

AND I even introduced the cuties to the Ice Cream Man...I mean Lady!

They never knew what that truck was that played music while it drove by my house until now! The secrets out....I'm sure we'll be stopping that truck again!

We miss the Robisons! We hope they come back soon. Then we can play some more!
