Yesterday the demolition began and all I have to say is.....WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Here is the beginning of our Before and After.
The mess is already beginning to appear!
Off come the cabinet doors.....
Now the fun begins.....new uppers are in place!
Tonight for dinner.....a microwaved quesadilla. Tomorrow....Lean Cuisine!
When will this be over? We'll keep you posted. I'm confident...I've got "Bob the Builder!" If he can't do it, no one can!

This all looks so familiar. We have all the cabinets in but we have been dueling over the granite that we like. We finally decided on one on Saturday but it is a little more then we had planned on spending. So I am going back today to try and finalize the decision. We have had a lot of distractions during all this too. Craigs dad passed away in January so he was in Utah for 10 days. Then Tyler had his appendix rupture and that held us up for a couple weeks. Not to mention the rain for 2 weeks. Now we just have to get the granite in and we will have a sink and oven again. Can't wait for that. I'm sick of eating out and making do without the oven/stove. Good luck with yours. At least Bob is there. Craig is juggling work and then the kitchen work at night.

It must be kitchen remodeling time. We just scraped our tile out to put new tile down. WHAT A MESS! Dust everywhere. No tile yet, just concrete.
