Wow! Long time no post. Christmas has come and gone, January too. Crazy! Robyn came home for a visit for almost three weeks this month. It was....WONDERFUL! I love, love, loved it. We had such a good time with each other. It was so much fun reacquainting myself with Macie and pretty much getting to know Hailey. They grow up so fast and we hadn't seen them in quite awhile. Hailey is pretty much the easiest baby on the face of the earth! She'd rather we let her be, to crawl and explore, than to snuggle and cuddle all the time. She does enjoy a good squeeze now and then though! Enough that I was able to get my fill of squishes! She's just a sweet, sweet baby. Macie is a character! Full of life. Such a singer! So dramatic! A bundle of personality! Pretty much kept me in stitches the whole time.
First on the agenda....a trip to Costco for Pizza! Who doesn't love Costco Pizza? No Costco's in Rexburg...or Idaho Falls, so we had to make the trip a couple of times. Robyn had to get her fill until next trip!

Papa and Macie had a great time together! This was just a fun, fun picture!

One day we went to the Bouncy Place in Kent. I think Robyn and Courtney had as much fun as the kids! I was worried that baby boy Grover (sure wish he'd get a name!) was going to be making an appearance that night after all the "bouncing!" The day was a hit and no one wanted to go home when our hour was up. Good naps that day!
We rode the train again into Seattle. Still love it! We ate lunch at Westlake Center and wished we could have shopped around more. Someday...when everyone grows up!
We spent days just hanging out with each other, letting the cousins spend some time together just playing and getting to know each other. They are at a fun age when they are really beginning to get what a cousin is. Learning that it is good to be family!

A first for Hailey at Grammy's house. She learned to climb a stair! Too, too tiny for that. This girl isn't about to be stopped! She'll be walking early like her Mommy did for sure!
Uncle Aaron reading stories. Hailey just kept staring at him the whole time. Not crying or wanting down, just staring! So cute!We managed to find time to do some fun shopping while Robyn was here. We had plans to do alot more crafting, but we didn't get to too much of that. It's hard with so many little kids. We did get some "Bumble Watches" made...I think that's what you call them! They were fun....for Robyn and Courtney! Too stressful for me trying to make everything match! Not my talent, but they did a great job.
It was a great visit. I think Robyn was able to get a little R&R. I love having her around. She's my baby girl and always will be. Now they are gone and all around there are signs of things that I am missing....

babies in the crib.....

toys in the tub.....
sippy cups in the sink.....
little messes and toys everywhere.....

Is it really so bad to wish that your children could live with you forever? I say I don't have "empty nest" syndrome.... I really do love my space and my quiet... but oh, it would be so lovely in my perfect world, to have all my children living on every side of me. Grandchildren running in at all hours of the day, asking for cookies and candy or maybe just wanting a story or a hug and a kiss. What a wonderful world it would be. One can only wish....Instead I guess I'll have to settle for Skype....and take advantage of the fact that I can do THIS anytime I want!
Miss you Robyn! Miss you Macie! Miss you Hailey! Come back soon! We love you bunches and bunches!
