I love my front porch. I never want to be without one again. I love to sit in my chair, read a book or just ponder. Yesterday was no exception. It was a busy day, but a good day. After dinner, we spent the evening planting the last of our summer flowers. I sat on my front porch and enjoyed how pretty everything looked. Then I began to ponder... I so loved being with Robyn. I love her so much. I'm so thankful I have a daughter. It was such a pleasure to be with her and her little family, helping them adjust to having a new baby in their home. They were so good to me. They make me feel so comfortable and welcome. Macie and Hailey couldn't be any sweeter. I loved spending time with Katelyn while I was in Rexburg. I love when these grandbabies become old enough to remember you between visits. I know that I'm important to her and that makes me feel good. I couldn't help spending time pondering my gratitude to my Heavenly Father for our most recent blessings. First baby Hailey arrived healthy in every way. Then came the news of baby Sydney. She had a little trouble breathing and Britney had some complications during delivery. It could have been very bad, but it wasn't. It wasn't, because of blessings from Heaven. Tender mercies that we'll be forever grateful for. I'm anxious to meet our little Sydney. The time isn't going by quick enough. Front Porch ponderings, one of my favorite things.Friday, June 5, 2009
