I love this "semi retirement" stuff! When we need a get-a-way we just go! We headed off to Rexburg to spend the holiday with Tim and Robyn and their families. We also enjoyed time with our friends Steve and Dana Hoopes. They live in Tetonia, Idaho and have a home with a beautiful view of the Teton mountains. We drove around the area and had a really nice visit. The rest of our trip was spent just visiting with the kids. We thought the weather was actually nice, until we found out we were missing 75 degree weather here! Wouldn't you know, our luck!
Easter weekend was nice. We took Katelyn to an Easter Egg Hunt in Sugar City. Then we got Macie and headed to another Easter Egg Hunt at Brolims Grocery store. That was a joke, neither Macie or Katelyn got any candy. I think every kid in Rexburg showed up for that one! Macie and Katelyn didn't have a chance! So, I decided to load up on candy, eggs and other surprises and have our own egg hunt in Robyn's backyard!
Next on the list of things to do was color the eggs Robyn had boiled. It was a great outside activity! They made great potato salad for Sunday dinner.
