Macie and Grandpa having a quiet time reading stories.
For a stocking stuffer Robyn bought Bob and D puzzles. 1000 piecer's! They set up D's puzzle and got to work. 5 days later they were finished! We had Christmas dinner around our little round kitchen table because there was no way we were going to move that puzzle! It was such a simple gift that brought lots of fun and enjoyment....and a great big challenge! Every night we were up until midnight, at least, working on it. Great idea Robyn! Now Bob and I need to get to work on ours!
The finished product!
One of my stocking stuffers to Macie was BUBBLES! For $1 the kids had so much fun. We heard those BELLY LAUGHS again...the best thing in the world...and OH, the smiles!
Aaron and Max just chillin! Max is getting bigger and bigger everyday! I love being able to see his changes up close and personal. I'm thankful Aaron and his family are close by, that we get to share in all changes, watching each little stage as they grow and develop.
This simple little table that I bought at IKEA has been so great! The little kids love to feel big, sitting on their own chairs. Macie loved that she could eat "snacks" there! She learned fast how to crawl up onto the chairs, then up onto the table!
Everyone loves Grammy's cupboards! Macie was no exception! She even crawled right in and made herself at home. Not so sure what the attraction is, but all the kids seem to enjoy it!
We have a family favorite Hamburger Joint, The XXX in Issaquah. Voted best hamburger in the state of Washington! Got to have the best milkshakes too! At least we think so! It's not a family visit without a trip to the XXX!
HAPPY NEW YEARS!
Wow! It was so nice having help with the dishes! Those two kids were great helpers!
Sweet Macie with one of her trademark smiles! Robyn and D, we loved having you here. Your stays are never long enough. We got to see Macie learn to show us where her nose is and how to blow kisses. She fell in love with a baby doll I have and learned to hug and kiss her, to be soft and kind. Such simple joys, yet we loved to see her learn them! Thanks for sharing the Holidays with us. Every minute was a joy!

Doing a puzzle after Christmas was something I always did with my dad so I get one or two every Christmas. I just finished one of those John Deere puzzles too.
I'm glad you had a great Christmas and New Year!
