Those face painting artists were quick! I wonder how many fairies, butterflies and dragons they paint in a day! Pretty lucrative too! You just have to get your face painted though!

Great Adventure at Disneyland!
The trip to Disneyland is over. Makes me feel a little "Grumpy!" We had a wonderful time. Who would have thought Grandma and Grandpa would be able to handle 5 days of fun in a row! We did it though! It was awesome experiencing Disneyland through the eyes of little kids again. It really is the "Happiest place on earth!" Thanks Danny, Linsey, Adi, Seth and Luke for sharing it with us! We love you! Can't wait for 5 more years or so...we'll do it all again...round 2!
Kind of out of sequence, but we're waiting for the big evening parade here. Dad took the picture, so he's not in it. When the parade began, what fun it was to watch the kids faces! All these characters they've only read about in their picture books coming to life! It was the best ever!
The beginning of the adventure! The kids were sooo excited! You pull up to the Hotel and the first thing you see is this big statue of Mickey Mouse.

The pool at the Disneyland hotel was awesome! The kids had fun swimming for a couple of days. It was still a little cold outside, but the water (they tell me) was warm and toasty. Dig those towels...they remind me of the cruise!

Grandma and Grandpa's job was to watch Luke! Darn for us! Just getting to do what Grandma's and Grandpa's love best! Every time the guys left to ride a ride, we'd just feed him! He loved us!
MINNIE MOUSE! We saw lots of characters during our visit, I just didn't take pictures of them all. The kids had autograph books and each time they had the characters sign them. They ended up with a lot of autographs. It'll be a fun memory for them.
We kept trying to get through Sleeping Beauty's castle and every time it was blocked off. On this attempt we thought we'd make it through, but just as we tried to pass we got cut off...again! Much to our surprise though, Mickey and his band began marching out along with Alice, the Mad Hatter and a bunch of other characters! We had a front and center view! Adi and Seth got "grabbed" up to participate in the festivities! They had a ball! We didn't mind having to wait for that.

One of Seth's favorite rides was "Buzz Lightyear!" He was busy fighting evil, shooting everything in sight with his laser gun! Of course, when it came time to choose his souvenir, he choose a laser gun he could take home! Wonder if the batteries have died yet!

Looks like you all had a ton of fun! I wonder if one of my cousins painted Addie and Seths face? They paint faces all day long at D-land. Anyway, looks like you guys had a blast. Miss you guys!
Cute mom! I like all the comments. We had so much fun! I'm certain there'll be things the kids remember for ever--mostly around the fact that you guys were there with us. I think we HAVE to plan on Disneyland every 5 years! I can't wait till 2013!
Hey Sue, I am a blog stalker...... looks like you guys had fun at the happiest place on earth. My nieces paint faces there every day and they don't think it's the happiest place anymore. They do like it .... but it's work. We have season passes and get to go often. We love it.
